Starting in late January through mid-April, an IRS volunteer who signs in ASL offers free help to people who need help in preparing their tax returns.

To Sign Up for Free Tax Help:
Montgomery County MD residents, sign up at https://www.montgomerycountymd.gov/Cashback/Schedule.html . ASL services are provided on Wednesdays 4-8 PM.
Frederick County MD residents, and possibly for residents from other areas, sign up at https://unitedwayfrederick.org/taxprep ASL Services are provided on Tuesday mornings from 9 AM -12 PM and possibly other days. When calling the phone numbers provided in the link, press 0 to get other options and make your appointment.
Service may be limited by the availability of volunteers so it is best to sign up early.
